Through eGovernment to a loan in Mobi Banka
Belgrade, July 19th, 2021 - eGovernment service "My data for the bank" for easier access to banking services
Mobi Banka has enabled its customers to fully digitally and automatically collect all the necessary data for applying for cash loans and other products of the Bank on offer, such as a credit card or allowed minus.
"The My Data for the Bank project that we created will immensely facilitate access to banking services. No papers, no waiting in lines, and no wasting time, with great savings for the citizens of Serbia. This is a turning point in the history of digitalization of banking in our country and the first project of this scope of cooperation between the private and public sector", explained Marija Popović, the President of the Executive Board of Mobi Banka.
After the presentation of the project at the National Bank of Serbia, Marija Popović thanked the Government of Serbia for the partnership and the National Bank for its key contribution to the digitalization of the banking sector.
"This project would not exist without the ambitious and agile agenda of digitalization of Serbia, in which our country is in many ways ahead of a large number of others not only in Europe but also in the world. I would like to thank the Prime Minister and her team from the Cabinet and the Office for IT and eGovernment, for their vision and determination. Special thanks also to the Governor, Ms. Tabaković, for everything she has done for the stability of the banking sector in these very difficult circumstances, which was recently recognized by the European Union. It is clear that we had an experienced and wise captain in the great storm we overcame", concluded the president of Mobi Banka.
How to use the My data for the bank service?
After logging in to the eGovernment portal with a qualified certificate or two-factor authentication, the My data for the bank functionality starts from the service menu. The data is then forwarded to the bank of the user's choice. In this step, there is also a confirmation of consent for the processing of personal data, which is used exclusively for the purpose of processing the application for the loan to be granted. During the procedure, documents called the Request for collecting and enabling the transfer of data, as well as the Consent for data processing are digitally created, which are automatically submitted to the bank. After receiving the Confirmation of electronic delivery by e-mail, the process of applying for a loan begins.
