Belgrade, February 27, 2016 – Thanks to Telenor Banka, the Belgrade Zoo got new inhabitants - two reindeers, a year-old male and a year-old female. The reindeer arrived after the game competition on spasipraznike.rs, organized by Telenor Banka on its Facebook page. Visitors to the page voted for the new residents of the zoo to be named Lale and Lola.
“We are very happy that we enabled the Belgrade Zoo to have a pair of reindeer as its residents for the first time in its 70-year long history. We are pleased that the youngest visitors of the zoo will have the opportunity to see these animals in live and learn more about them. I hope that children will often visit them and brighten their stay in the “Vrt dobre nade,”” said Martin Navratil, CEO and Chairman of Telenor Banka’s Executive Board.
The reindeer arrived at the Belgrade Zoo mainly thanks to Telenor Banka’s customers who collected more than 100,000 virtual 3-in-1 credit cards in the three-month online game competition on www.spasipraznike.rs.

We prepared a warm welcome for the reindeer again with the help of Telenor Banka, which arranged their dedicated space, and also space of all other ungulates. I believe that children will enjoy spending time with the new residents, and I hope that next year we will be welcoming to a third reindeer, one that will be the first born in our garden,” said Srboljub Aleksić, acting Director of the Belgrade Zoo.
The zoo visitors and their children, spent a day of fun and enjoyed time with the reindeers on Telenor Banka’s first family day. The children took a tour of the entire zoo, visited other animals, tried their luck by competing in the #spasipraznike online game, took pictures with the reindeer, and had fun masking as one.
