Mobi Banka Supports „Pruži korak” Campaign with One Million Dinars
Belgrade, 29th November 2019 - Mobi Banka has joined the humanitarian #Pruži korak (Take a Step) campaign organized by the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer (NURDOR), by donating one million dinars for the construction of a new Parents’ Home in Belgrade. It is planned for the new Parents’ Home to provide accommodation and care for twenty families whose children are going through the long process of cancer treatment.
“The #Pruži korak campaign inspired a large number of companies and individuals to get involved and help those who are fighting this hard battle. Mobi Banka, together with its employees, wants to make its contribution and motivate people to show that we are here together for those who need it the most”, said Miloš Brusin, President of the Executive Committee of Mobi Banka.
The second phase of the Pruži korak campaign will last until 31 December, and the #Pružikorak mobile app on which this humanitarian campaign is based, keeps track of the steps taken by its users and converts them into dinars using a simple formula: one kilometer walk = 10 dinars. Socially responsible companies from Serbia are “buying steps” and donating the funds to NURDOR.
The Pruži korak campaign was launched by Tamara Klarić and Bogdan Stevanović, who are friends and NURDOR activists. They embarked on a 256-kilometer-long walk from Niš to Belgrade on 19 September to raise funds for the construction of a new NURDOR Parents’ Home in Belgrade. Their goal was to set a personal example in order to motivate people to join the campaign, to raise public awareness about NURDOR’s work and to promote the socially responsible Pruži korak mobile app.
Pruži korak is the first campaign of this kind in Serbia and has raised 50 million dinars so far, while the app has been installed on more than 500 000 devices. Install the Pruži korak app and join the campaign!
