Mobi Banka Introduces Digital Wallets: Google Pay Is The First One

Customers of Mobi Banka who have Mactercard cards and Android mobile devices now need only their phone or a smart watch when they are in front of the POS terminal: with the introduction of the Google Pay service, contactless payments in Mobi Banka have become simpler, safer and faster.

Activation of this service takes place in just a few steps: the customer needs to download the Google Wallet application from the Play Store, and add a Mobi Banka Mastercard debit or credit card. When it comes to making a payment, it is enough to unlock the device on which Google Wallet is installed and bring it to the POS terminal, without the need to enter a PIN or open the app. This service is available in all stores in Serbia that support contactless payment.

In addition to simplicity and speed, Google Pay also provides customers with a maximum level of security. The data is tokenized, and each token is unique to each individual device and cannot be linked to the real data on the card. In this way, fraud is prevented.
