September 28, 2015 – Telenor Banka opened its 100,000th account in Serbia and formed a stable foundation for further development of online banking. On this occasion, Telenor Banka’s Executive Board President Martin Navratil greeted the 100,000th customer, Ms. Aleksandra Taubner, and presented her with Samsung S6.

The use of online banking in Serbia has spiked by 20% in the past 12 months. With a million more completed transactions, online banking has exceeded the turnover at branch offices for the first time ever. In addition, the NBS data shows that the number of online banking users has increased by two and a half times in the last 12 months.
Telenor banka was the first in Serbia to offer unique services like multicurrency accounts, contactless withdrawal of dinars or euros at ATMs, exchange rates identical to those in exchange offices, receiving money from abroad without charging double commissions, sending money to emails and mobile phone numbers, and paying bills in just a few clicks.
